Standing Advisory Committee on implementing the Institutional Strategy
The Standing Advisory Committee held its constitutive meeting in May 2012. The Standing Advisory Committee’s initial task was to work with the Executive Committee on developing the funding criteria and on shaping the funding procedure before the start of Institutional Strategy funding from the Excellence Initiative.
Since this funding began in November 2012, the Standing Advisory Committee has provided continuous guidance on safeguarding coherence in the overall implementation of the Institutional Strategy in all funding areas, particularly as regards the promotion of young researchers, governance reform, research collaborations and teaching. Furthermore, the committee will liaise with the Executive Committee to produce reports each year on the status of implementation of the Institutional Strategy and on priority topics in terms of funding.
The members come from Humboldt- Universität’s most important internal groups and include students, non-professorial teaching staff, and professors. In addition, the Gender Equality Officer and a male and female representative of the projects from the Excellence Initiative’s first and second funding lines attend the committee’s meetings as guests.
