Personal development and promotion of young researchers
In order to achieve its second goal of comprehensively promoting young researchers, HU has drafted the HU phase model in its Institutional Strategy. HU will use this scheme to provide support to young researchers during the transitional stages between educational levels. The focus here is on providing support during the postdoctoral phase.
Openness between excellent research and excellent teaching plays a major role at HU in the development of young researchers. From the winter semester of 2011/2012, HU will provide its students with the opportunity to integrate research modules into their degrees in the HU Q Programme, which is funded by the Quality Pact for Teaching. In this way, the university will include talented young students as soon as possible in research projects and generate productive interaction between top-level and young researchers.
