The Institutional Strategy – Eleven goals for Humboldt-Universität
Humboldt-Universität’s success in all three funding lines of the Excellence Initiative has given rise to new questions: What happens after 2017? How are the reform of faculty and the Institutional Strategy linked? What does profile-building mean? Why does the Institutional Strategy consist of so many (individual) measures?
Humboldt-Universität’s Institutional Strategy adopts a comprehensive approach. It is designed to impact all areas of top-level research (in close collaboration with excellent teaching), of the promotion of young researchers and of University governance. To achieve this, we must ensure that internal links are created between the different initiatives of the Institutional Strategy and incorporate them under the common, overriding goals for the University as a whole.
